About me

My name is Bernard Otto, and I’ve spent the better part of the last decade immersed in the world of esports betting. Born in 1988 in Seattle, I grew up with a controller in my hand and a competitive spirit in my heart. Little did I know that my passion for video games would eventually lead me to a career in the rapidly growing esports industry.

After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Communications, I stumbled into the world of esports almost by accident. A friend invited me to watch a major League of Legends tournament, and I was immediately hooked. The energy, the skill, and the sheer spectacle of it all fascinated me.

As I delved deeper into the esports scene, I noticed a lack of reliable information about betting on these events. Drawing on my background in communications and my lifelong love of gaming, I started a blog to fill this gap. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a full-time pursuit.

Today, my blog is one of the go-to resources for esports betting enthusiasts around the world. I cover everything from basic betting strategies to in-depth analyses of teams and players across multiple games. My work has taken me to major tournaments across the globe, from the neon-lit arenas of Seoul to the grand stages of Las Vegas.

While the world of esports betting is not without its controversies, I strive to promote responsible gambling and transparency in the industry. My goal is to educate and inform, helping my readers make informed decisions in this exciting and ever-evolving field.

When I’m not writing or attending events, you can find me playing my favorite games or exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my dog, Pixel. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I can’t wait to see where the world of esports takes me next.
