Another exciting day at Beyond Epic comes to an end. The first upper bracket action lasted the whole day and one grand finalist has been declared already. Team Nigma has once again kept their tradition alive at the Epicenter tournament. They are the first grand finalist of the event. The remaining three teams move towards the lower brackets.
Upper Bracket Action
Beyond Epic Dota 2 upper bracket action was just out of this world. Three raging series between the world-class teams took the excitement to another level. At first, Team Secret faced Team Liquid with Secret being favorite to win. Team Liquid surprised the fans and made it through the series 2-0 and forced Secret to fall down to lower brackets to face Vikin.gg, tomorrow.
On the other hand, Team Nigma faced Team Fly to Moon in an epic series. Nigma seemed a little messy at the start but it came back stronger. Nigma secured the first game in just 32 minutes with Kuroky choosing an unexpected draft. The second game was a little rough for Nigma as Fly to Moon sent a clear message and secured the win. At last, Nigma claimed the series by winning the last game in 34 minutes and sending Fly to Moon to the lower bracket rounds to face Virtus.Pro.

Team Nigma vs Team Liquid – Upper Bracket Finals
With the final of upper bracket rounds, Nigma faced Team Liquid. Team Nigma got out-drafted as Liquid decided to pick Blookseeker against Nigma’s Storm Spirit and Lycan. Bloodseeker pick worked like a charm and it secured 16 kills in the first game to push Nigma to call GG. However, Nigma came back stronger in games 2 and 3. Although Nigma tried an unsettling draft with Miracle carrying the game with Bounty Hunter, it won with leveling the series as 1-1.
Finally, in the last game of the series, Nigma came up with a better draft. Miracle’s Ursa proved very useful as well as Mind Control’s Bristleback. Similarly, Weeha also swooped in as he was extremely well with his Batrider. Liquid played a classic Dota in the last game but it was just not enough to beat Nigma’s Godlike form.
GG WP @TeamLiquid. With this victory we keep a 5 year tradition alive, by heading into another Grand Finals of an @epicentergg tournament.

Results
Nigma secured victory over Team Liquid and Fly to Moon, pushing both teams into the lower brackets. Team Fly to Moon will face Virtus.Pro today whereas Team Liquid will start off in the lower bracket finals. The winning team in the lower bracket finals will eventually face Team Nigma for the title.
Team Nigma MVPs
Team Nigma secured both the upper bracket rounds and reserved a seat in the Grand Finals. Nigma performed really well and outplayed the world-class teams. Although the whole team performed somewhat the best, Kuroky and GH proved to be the MVPs of the matches. Kuroky with his Windranger got the best shackleshots throughout the series, stunning most of the important targets in team fights. On the other hand, GH with his Phoenix’s eggs claimed Nigma most of the team fights. Nigma picked Phoenix for GH in all three games against Liquid and he didn’t disappoint.
