Since Apex Legends was released, it has been available as a digital download only. Players have been able to download it for free since the start. However, this will change soon as Respawn Entertainment has announced two Apex Legends Physical Editions. They have confirmed the two editions along with what exclusive rewards players will get upon purchasing them.
Apex Legends Physical Editions
Respawn has confirmed that there will be two physical editions of Apex Legends that will become available at selected retailers. Although the game will be the same, there are going to be some additional and exclusive rewards that you can get only by purchasing the physical copy.

Bloodhound Edition
The first edition is the Bloodhound version through which you will get The Intimdiatator Bloodhound Legendary skin. The skin features a red and grey outfit for the hunter. Considering the skin will make you look like a warrior, it is definitely one of the best Bloodhound skins we’ve seen so far. In addition to this, you will also get a Legendary Wrath Bringer Prowler skin and a devil-themed badge.
Lifeline Edition
The second edition is the Lifeline version which will offer the Guardian Angel Lifeline Legendary skin. The skin features a golden and light purple costume for Lifeline, and it makes her look like, well, a guardian angel. Aside from this, the Lifeline version features a Legendary Slain Skin for Flatline, an exclusive Lifeline banner, and an angelic badge.
Price of Apex Legends Physical Editions
Both editions will be available for PC as well as the consoles. You will be able to purchase them from specific retailers starting October 18. Both editions will have a price tag of $19.99. In addition to this, you will also receive 1,000 Apex Coins with the purchase of any edition. Considering you get some Legendary skins, a physical copy, and coins enough to purchase a battle pass, $19.99 is a really amazing price tag.
For those who don’t know, both physical editions were previously leaked during a GameStop conference. This is the very conference that leaked a new weapon, Crypto’s design, and a Halloween skin for Gibraltar.
Halloween-Themed Event Might Happen
Considering the physical editions are going to become available for purchase around Halloween, fans might get to see a Halloween-themed event. After all, other battle royale titles such as PUBG and Fortnite have always hosted a Halloween-themed event. And Respawn will not want to disappoint its fans by not hosting it. If it does happen, then fans can expect to see some new skins and challenges soon.
On the other hand, Apex Legends season 3 is also a few weeks away. Respawn has promised to make the upcoming season better and bigger than the current one, so we can expect to see a lot of new content in it. At the moment, it has been confirmed that season 3 will feature Crypto, a new Player vs Environment mode, new weapons, and some new cosmetic items. A data miner also discovered through the game’s files that the next season will be called Fire and Ice.
