Three PGS Events

To begin with, it has been confirmed that a total of 32 teams are going to participate in the three PGS events that will be held throughout this year. From these teams, 28 of them will secure a spot in the event through regional qualifiers that will be held in different regions. These include China, Korea, Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Japan. As for the remaining four, they will be the top four teams from the previous global events. This means that you will get to see the top teams once again in the events.

Each PGS event will be held for a total of nine days, and each one will consist of three stages. These include the group stage, the elimination stage, and the grand finals. All 32 teams are going to be divided into a total of two groups, and each group will have 16 teams. The top six teams will directly advance to the grand finals. Once the elimination stage is over, the top four teams will go to the grand finals. Each PGS event is going to feature a prize pool of $500,000.

The PUBG Global Championship

As for the PUBG Global Championship, it is going to be the biggest PUBG event of this year. In this event, a total of 16 teams are going to participate for a really big prize pool. However, all of them will mainly compete to earn the title of PUBG champions. Just like the above events, the top four teams from the previous PGS events will directly secure a spot in the PUBG Global Championship. The rest of the 12 teams will be decided on the basis of the points they scored in the previous three PGS events. As for the prize pool, the Global Championship will have $2 million for players to take away.
