NiP began this tournament with a lot of hope and an excellent preparation. The team won 6 out of its 7 Group Stage matches and for a short while it looked as if they had a chance to play in the Upper Bracket Final. But FaZe Clan put an end to their Upper Bracket run and then immediately after, Vitality did the same thing in the Lower Bracket. On the other hand, Heretics started the Playoffs Stage in the Lower Bracket, managed to win its first match against North but then lost to G2 Esports. Given NiP’s results and experience as a cohesive unit, they are heavily favored to win this match.
