MIBR did not do well in the Group Stage and only managed to beat Chaos Esports Club. The Brazilian squad finished 3rd with a record of 1 win and 2 losses. However, much has changed since then. Keep in mind that Group A ended on May 24th and MIBR had changed its roster on May 19th. And since then, their results have improved dramatically, even though not immediately. FalleN’s team is now ranked 14th globally. Cloud9 did better in the Group Stage, finishing with 2 wins and 1 loss. But since then, MIBR encountered them in a direct match and won (2 – 1). Based on that result and the fact that MIBR is now a much stronger team than it was a month ago, I expect the Brazilians to win this match.
