On paper, this is considered to be an almost perfectly even match. But I don’t think that’s the case. Looking at Astralis and what they’ve been through, it’s hard to even regard them as Astralis. When you say Astralis, you tend to think of the legendary roster that managed to dominate the world of CS:GO for two years and win countless trophies with ease. You think of win streaks and world-records. But this new Astralis is nothing like that. They may still have some strength left in them, but it’s not what it used to be. And the global ranking reflects that: 11th instead of the usual 1st, 2nd or 3rd. At the same time, Fnatic is ranked 6th and has a great roster. All of the usual suspects are here to play.
